the idea that anyone who approaches sex in an unconventional way (asexuals, kinky people) is LGBT is a direct product of the perception of gay sex as deviant and strange

Where to cop this fit
Madame Popova was a contract murderer in Russia in the late 1800s until the early 1900s. She has, at the very least, three hundred known victims.
This hit-woman-for-hire specialized in executing men who were entrapping women in severely abusive relationships. She would poison her targets with arsenic for a small fee and was considered to be one of the first advocates of women’s liberation long before the cause was widely recognized.
She was apprehended after one of her clients became remorseful for ordering the death of her husband. An angry mob set out to burn Popova at the stake, but she was rescued by soldiers at the last minute. Her only attempt at a defense was her proud statement that she never murdered a woman. Madame Popova was sentenced to death and was executed by a firing squad.

honestly ladies, why didn’t we just let the lazy fucks starve
this is amazing because the way it’s typically presented is that men were off hunting a whole deer for the family every day while women were just contributing a single mushroom or berry to accompany it
A fresh little side salad at best.
Not a coincidence how often pictures of hunter gatherers in textbooks, documentaries, and movies usually emphasize [men] hunting. I noticed it in the history and science books I read as a kid.
Lots of big illustrations and recreations of, say, men hunting buffalo, few and smaller pictures of women gathering and collecting, their baskets and some of the food they ate within them maybe.
Gotta subliminally reinforce the idea that patriarchy is ~proper natural order~ since the beginning of human history and society by giving the impression that hunting was more significant than gathering; that men’s robust and superior strength in the hunt was more important than women’s work with their pretty baskets and plants.
Perpetuate the idea that men were the meals and women were the snacks to deny patriarchy or justify it, both of which perpetuate it do women’s demise.
“So, if he’s the kind of guy who tells his wife periodically that he’s gonna kill her but he never ever actually punches and slaps her, then the real batterer is the one who does. If he’s the one who punches and slaps, then the real batterer is the one who strangles her. If he strangles her, than the real batterer is the one who puts a gun to her head. It’s always this other..Oh and one more I gotta tell you. Dozens and dozens of clients have said to me, “y'know, I’m not one of those guys who comes home and beats his wife for no reason.” Again, very revealing of the batterer mentality. The real batterer is the guy who does it for no reason. Well, I’ve never known the guy who does it for no reason. He doesn’t exist. Every batterer develops this system for justifying what he does.”
